This page is for children using Flyaboo. It says what we know about you, who can see it, and how to make it go away. A grown-up can read YOUR DATA for the longer version.
A grown-up made you a profile with a name and a little picture. You can pick any name you like — it doesn't have to be your real one, and a nickname is a good idea. The animal or rocket icon is safer than a photo of your face.
When you catch a plane, we remember which plane it was and when. That's how your stickers, badges, XP and streak work. We don't know where you are when you do it, and we never ask.
Other spotters can see your name and your little icon on the leaderboard, next to how many planes you've caught. That's all they see. They cannot see your photo, and they cannot send you a message — Flyaboo has no way for anybody to message anybody.
Everything. You're using their account, so the grown-up who looks after you can see your planes, your badges and your streak, and they can change your name or your picture. They can also delete your profile whenever you or they want to.
Ask your grown-up. On the Junior Profiles page they can remove you, and everything of yours goes with it — your planes, your badges, your picture, all of it. You don't have to give a reason.
If you see something on Flyaboo that upsets you, or somebody being unkind, tell your grown-up and ask them to use the Complain page. We read every one. If you are ever frightened or somebody is hurting you, tell an adult you trust, or call Childline on 0800 1111. It's free and they won't tell anyone.
We don't show you adverts. We don't follow you around other websites. We don't sell anything about you to anybody. We don't ask how old you are, where you live, or what school you go to — and you should never type those into Flyaboo either.
